Appraising Meeting of Technological Achievement is Held in Webest
In 2013, Webest Interlining (Nan Tong) Co., Ltd.and Qingdao University Textile Garment Institute began research cooperation. Collecting Webest’s interlining development and marketing speciality with Qingdao University’s advantage of silver fiber basic research and product development, under two years’ continuous efforts, a new road is opened and the hot melting fusible interlining applied in silver coating fabrics is developed successfully.This product can be composite with various fabrics and is widely applied in development of different kinds of screen products. Not only its functional standards meet requirements of design, but also the quality of garment is good, the appearance is beautiful, the protective effect and anti-virus effect are lasting. It satisfies the increasing demands of home and abroad and adapt to the tendency of diversified development of interlining, increasing the additional value and competitiveness of the products.
The expert group made uo of Yao Mu, the academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sun Run Jun, the dean of Xi An Engineering University Textile and Material Institute, Xu Shan Qing, the vice-president of Nan Tong University Textile and Garment Institute, Cai Kan from Equipment Research Institute of The People's Liberation Army General Logistics Ministry and so on jointly appraised the project of electromagnetic screen interlining developed by Webest and Qingdao University.
Having listened to the report of the project, examined the material, observed the samples and field studied the factory, the expert team evaluated that the technology material is complete. Except the fine electromagnetic screen function, this product has the advantages of elasticity and compatibility and can be applied widely in garments and home- textile products, thus, it is qualified to industrial production. It is confirmed the technology of “research and development of electromagnetic screen hot-melt fusible interlining” project has reached the international advanced standards of similar products. It is suggested that as a functional product, further research should be done in industrialization and serialization.
